Clewiston, FL – For the first time ever this holiday season, Santa Claus will arrive in South Central Florida aboard a historic steam-powered passenger train thanks to the state’s newest attraction.
On select days in December, Sugar Express will operate the Santa Express in the Lake Obecheokee region. These hour-long holiday train rides depart from both Lake Placid and Clewiston, Florida, and will feature US Sugar steam locomotive No. 148 and a visit with Santa Claus himself.
Tickets are $50.00 plus tax. Trains depart at 12:00 PM, 2:30 PM, 5:00 PM, and 7:30 PM. Departure times will vary based on the date selected. All trips are roundtrips. Special hotel rates are available at the Clewiston Hampton Inn when you mention the Sugar Express.
