Over a period of four years, No. 148 was painstakingly restored to as-built condition by U.S. Sugar employees and railroad preservation experts. Restorations of this kind are increasingly rare in the United States – and U.S. Sugar is proud to have returned an important piece history back to life and is pleased to share it with the public.
