Sugar Express Release January – May 2025 Schedule
CLEWISTON, FL – 2025 Sugar Express Operating Season
Sugar Express returns following its summer break with its 2025 operating schedule, featuring train rides and all-day excursions from January through May. A new Family Coach Class with special pricing for children and young families is also being introduced.
Tickets for January and February events go on sale Wednesday, December 11th at 6:00 PM at sugarexpress.com.
The 2025 season begins in January with multiple weekend excursions featuring steam locomotive No. 148, including the Lake Placid Local, Clewiston Comet, Highlands County Crescent, Lake Placid Limited, and Palmdale Pioneer Ice Cream Train.
In February, the Sebring County Fair will again feature the diesel-powered Sebring Fair Train.
Sugar Express will offer four classes of service on all-day excursions:
- First Class – Premium seating aboard Palmdale and Bay Biscayne, including refreshments. (18+ on Bay Biscayne)
- Deluxe Coach – Restored 1940s–1950s passenger seating.
- Family Coach – Group seating designed for families.
- Open Air Coach – Semi-enclosed viewing car with 360° scenery.
